Day 1
DAY 1 | ARRIVAL – THE CALDERA NOMADIC ESCAPE – PARAPAT | (L/D)Upon arrival at Kualanamu International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative. The journey will then continue to Pematang Siantar, a small city of the Simalungan Batak ethnic group. You will have the opportunity to shop for local snacks such as Ting-ting and Teng-teng. Lunch will be at a local restaurant. Afterward, the trip will continue to Sibisa to visit The Kaldera Toba Nomadic Escape, a nomadic tourism amenity located in the Sibisa area. You will have time to capture beautiful moments here with the stunning backdrop of Lake Toba. The journey will then continue back to Parapat. Upon arrival in Parapat, the tour will proceed to Bebas Parapat Beach for a photo stop. Bebas Parapat Beach was recently inaugurated by the President of Indonesia, Mr. Joko Widodo, in February 2022. Dinner will be at a local restaurant, followed by hotel check-in and free time.
Day 2
DAY 2 | PARAPAT – SAMOSIR TOUR – DESA ULOS – BUKIT SI BEA BEA – AIR TERJUN EFRATA – TELE – BERASTAGI | (B/L/D)After breakfast at the hotel, check out. Today, you will take a ferry to Samosir Island, located in the middle of Lake Toba. Upon arrival on Samosir Island, you will visit Ambarita Village to see the execution stone chairs made by King Siallagan in ancient times. You will have the opportunity to dance the TorTor with the Sigale-gale statue. The tour will then continue to Ulos Lumban Suhi-suhi Village in Hutaraja to see traditional Ulos weavers. Next, you will head to Batu Hoda Beach, the zero point of Samosir Island, to relax and take photos. Lunch will be at the Batu Hoda Beach Restaurant. Afterward, the journey will continue to Tano Ponggol Bridge, which connects Samosir Island with the Sumatra mainland. You will then visit Efrata Waterfall, known for its beautifully sculpted cliffs. The trip will proceed to Bukit Si Bea Bea, where you can enjoy the stunning views of Lake Toba surrounded by hills, with its winding roads becoming a favorite photo spot. Finally, the journey will continue to Berastagi via Tele. Upon arrival in Berastagi, dinner will be at a local restaurant, followed by hotel check-in and rest.
Day 3
DAY 3 | BERASTAGI – PAGODA LUMBINI – MEDAN CITY TOUR (B/L/D)After breakfast at the hotel, check out. Today, the tour will continue with a visit to the Fruit Market, which sources its produce from Karo farmers and is one of the largest producers of fruits and vegetables in North Sumatra. Next, you will visit Lumbini Pagoda, the tallest golden pagoda in Indonesia, located about 55 kilometers from Medan. This pagoda is a replica of the Shwedagon Pagoda and is recognized as the second tallest replica of its kind abroad, holding two MURI records: the tallest pagoda in Indonesia (first record). Lunch will be at a local restaurant. Afterward, the journey will continue to Medan City. Upon arrival in Medan, the tour will proceed to Maimun Palace, the grand palace of the Deli Sultanate, known for its yellow color (yellow is the color of the Malay kingdom) and distinctive Malay architecture of the eastern coast. This palace was designed by an Italian architect and completed in 1888 during the reign of Sultan Mahmud Al Rasyid. You will have the opportunity to wear traditional Malay royal attire and take photos at Maimun Palace (optional – at your own expense). The tour will then continue to the Noerlen Passion Fruit Processing Education Center in Berastagi, where you will get a close look at how passion fruit is processed into bottled juice and learn about the general production process. After that, you will visit Kaos Jegez, which sells typical products from North Sumatra. Dinner will be at a local restaurant. Following dinner, you will be taken to DURIAN UCOK, famous for its delicious durian (optional – at your own expense). Finally, you will be escorted to the hotel for check-in and enjoy some free time.
Day 4
DAY 4 | MEDAN – TJONG A FIE MANSION – DEPARTURE | (B/L)After breakfast at the hotel, check out. Today, the tour will continue with a visit to the Tjong A Fie Heritage House, which belongs to a famous figure in Medan known for being a philanthropist and donor for the construction of important buildings in Medan, including Maimun Palace, places of worship such as mosques, churches, and temples in the Medan area and as far as the interior of Tapanuli that still stand today. You will also have the opportunity to shop for local snacks and souvenirs such as Medan Par Par, Bika Ambon, Durian Pancakes, and Meranti Roll Cake. Lunch will be at a local restaurant. Afterwards, you will be taken to Kualanamu Airport for your next journey.
